Well, most everyone was out of town or had a conflict for February's meeting, so a couple of us went to watch a movie - 3:10 to Yuma. I had never seen the original, so it was all new for me. While not a deeply profound movie, it was good enough to hold my attention (which is a difficult task sometimes).
In the emergent movement, there is the basis of an underlying story, or a premise that undergirds life. Have you found that story in some unexpected places? For the March meeting, let's talk about movies (or music, plays, podcasts, books, etc). What has been "formational" for your journey thus far?
In addition, there are some crews of people going over to Macon County each week for tornado recovery efforts. The crews will leave Friday mornings at 8am and returning Saturday night, but if you want to go over for Saturday only, they will be glad to have you! Contact me for more information.
See you in March!
